SHELLY WU, DC

DuPage Health and Physical Therapy Center is excited to welcome Shelly Wu DC.

 

Dr. Wu growing up in China was fortunate in that both her parents were specialists in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Wu has been practicing acupuncture since graduating from the National University of Health Sciences in 2000. After receiving her D.C. degree, she returned to China to continue her training in acupuncture. In her studies in China, she learned from many acupuncture specialists and professionals in Traditional Chinese Medicine.  

 

Dr. Wu has incorporated all the knowledge and techniques she has learned from many specialists into her own practice and care of the patients she serves. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Wu creates an individual treatment plan for each patient. Dr. Wu has achieved success for many of her patients when conventional treatments were found to be ineffective or created more side effects.

 

Some of Dr. Wu’s interests include success with assisted IVF procedures, nerve impingement, sport injuries, arthritis, fibromyalgia, sciatica, migraines, disc bulging or herniation, carpal tunnel syndrome and complex regional pain syndrome. Emotional imbalances caused by stress, depression, insomnia, and anxiety. Dr. Wu is also able to help with sinus conditions, smoking sedation, weight loss and rejuvenation.
