Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs), L-Leucine, L-Valine and L-Isoleucine, which are essential amino acids, can not be made in the body. Among the amino acids, some are called essential which means that the body does not synthesize them.


What does Branched Amino Acids do?

The branched amino acid product of Ideal Protein, is an essential supplement. As a source of amino acids that play a role in protein synthesis, and BCAAs can be used as fuel during intense exercise, supplementation with BCAA can help preserve existing muscle tissue.


In addition, BCAA can support the recovery process in normal repair processes that take place after the effort. BCAAs also play an important role in maintaining the function of the immune system and supporting healthy aging.


Who could use Branched Amino Acids of Ideal Protein?

Branched amino acids could be useful for:


During all phases of Ideal Protein especially first 4 weeks of phase 1.


For any workout, before or after the effort

To improve endurance ability

To reduce muscle loss and damage (whether athletic or not)

To support the muscles of the face


Use of the BCAA Supplement During Phase One

Give 1 packet daily during the first four weeks one of Phase 1. This can help reduce muscle lost during gluconeogenesis at the beginning of the protocol.

Add 1 packet daily if you continue to lose an exaggerated amount of lean mass after week 4.
